Wagner Books Masters Ticket With Maiden Tour Win In Shell Houston Open
In his 44th PGA Tour event Texas golfer Johnson Wagner has finally broke his duck and in the process booked a place in next weeks US Masters at Augusta National.
Johnson Wagner shot a final round 1 under par 71 in the Shell Houston Open at the Redstone GC, Humble TX, to post a 16 under par 72 hole score of 272, two shots ahead of the field.
Wagner managed to top the leaderboard everyday of the tournament.
Australian Geoff Ogilvy shot a 68 to jump from fifth place to tie for second with Chad Campbell who had a level 72 which included a double bogey on the eighth, the same hole he eagled in round 3.
