US PGA Championship - Storms force 3rd round suspension
Play was suspended on Saturday at Oakland Hills after thunderstorms rendered the course unplayable.
Only 25 players have completed the third round of the 2008 USPGA Championship, and the leading six are yet to begin their rounds.
Of those to complete on Saturday the undoubted star of the show was Argentine Andres Romero who shot a five under par 65 to reach to two over, just 3 strokes behind the leader J.B. Holmes who still has 36 holes to play. Romero’s round included 7 birdies.
Play on Sunday will resume at 7.15am local time (12.15pm BST) and the fourth round will begin at 12.20pm (5.20pm BST).
The final round will be played as threesomes going off from both the 1st and the 10th tees.
