The regular season of the US PGA Tour, and the PGA Playoffs for the Fed Ex Cup begin this week with The Barclays Golf Tournament between August 21st and August 24th 2008 from Ridgewood Country Club, Paramus, New Jersey.

The first PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedEx Cup occurred last year with Tiger Woods winning the biggest prize in sport $10m.

The Barclays will play host to the Top 144 players on the PGA Tour Money List during the regular PGA season.

The competition should be red hot as players all want to finish high enough in the Barclays to ensure they make the Top 30 who compete for the Tour Championship at the East Lake GC, Atlanta, Georgia and that $10m prize.
