Singh and Karlsson hold clubhouse lead at US PGA

The Oakland Hills course proved extremely tricky on day one with its narrow fairways and unforgiving rough many players racked up high scores including Lee Westwood on seven over par.
Kenny Perry was forced to retire from the tournament due to an eye injury.
