Shin shoots 66 to win the RICOH Women’s British Open
Ji-Yai Shin of Korea shot a 66 to win the RICOH Women’s British Open at Sunningdale, Shin ended the tournament on 18 under par.
Three strokes behind the winner came second placed Ya-Ni Tseng from Taiwan, who also carded a 66.
Japan’s Yuri Fudoh of Japan who was leading after the third round carded a 71 to finish tied for third with Korea’s Eun-Hi Ji (67).
Ai Miyazato of Japan was fifth on 13 under par. In sixth place came Cristie Kerr of the USA, on -12.
Defending champion and tournament favourite Lorena Ochoa of Mexico finished tied for 7th place on 11 under.
Playing in her final major Annika Sorenstam the legendary Swede ended up on -6 a share of 24th place.
