The Russian Open 2008 tees off tommorow ( Thursday 24th July 2008) at 8:10 local time. Its the tournament after the 3rd Major of the year the British Open so most of the stars are taking a week off including double open champion Padraig Harrington.
The Russian Open is now in its 6th Year and has Russian Open Prize Money of over euro 2m and 200,000 euros for the winner of the Russian Open. The Moscow Country Club is the venue and we have picked out a few players to watch.

Markus Brier: He tees off 8:50 am local time or 5:50 UK Time, he goes into the tournament as bookies favourite having finished in the top 10 at the European Open.

John Daly: Makes his debut at the Russian Open, The big man is only a shadow of his former self but he is still larger than life, and still hits the ball harder than anyone on the tour, he is guaranteed box officer, so if you want to watch him he tees of at 6am UK time which is 9am local time.

Robert-Jan Derksen: Will be wanting to better his 2nd last year he tees off at 8:50 local 5:50 uk time together with Markus Brier.

Per-Ulrik Johansson is the defending champion with the lowest 72 holes ever last year he tees off at 2pm local 11am UK Time.

Sky will be showing the Russian Open all over the weekend their first broadcasts will begin at 9am for live coverage on Sky Sports 1, and will show highlights of the whole day in afternoon from 2pm
