Repeat US Win For Jodi Ewart

Reigning English strokeplay champion Jodi Ewart has become the first player to successfully defend the Mountain West Women’s Conference Championship.

20 year old Jodi from Middleham, North Yorkshire, England won the event on her home college course in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She led after round one with a one under par 72, however a disastrous second round of 75, which included a quadruple bogey 9, knocked her off pole position.

The third and final round saw Jodi recover her form and 3 birdies in the last 4 holes put her back at the head of the field with a 72, ensuring she retained her title.
