Kenny Perry continues his reach vain of form by recording his 3rd win in 5 starts when he won the John Deere Classic after a play off today.

Kenny Perry has a 1 shot lead going onto the 18th but he bogeyed which meant he had a play off with Brad Armstrong and Jay Williamson.
The playoff would not have happened if 35 year old rookie Adamonis had managed to sink a 18 foot birdie.
The 1st play off hole was played off hole 18. Adamonis and Williamson both hit hit water, whilst Perry hit his shot 24 foot short of the pin. He putted to within 16 inches then tapped in for par and his third victory in 5 tournaments.

Perry took the Deere Classic Prize Money of $756,000, and is currently enjoyin his best run of form of his career.
Perry is now the number 1 fit player on the US tour rising to second in the FedEX Cup standings behind Tiger Woods. Perry is now a Ryder Cup cert.
