Paul Casey takes PGA Championship at Wentworth

Paul Casey staved off the attention of Ross Fisher to claim the victors spoils at the PGA Championship on a spectacular concluding day at Wentworth.

Casey’s triumph elevates him to number 3 in the world rankings.

Fisher had an awesome bogey free round of 64 with 8 birdies to give himself a fighting chance.

Which meant that Casey needed a birdie at the 18, which he duly got for a 68 and victory by one stroke.

Soren Kjeldsen was 4 behind Casey in 3rd place and Stephen Dodd claimed 4th place.
