Otto Takes Over In Italian Open
South African Hennie Otto was in sparkling form on Saturday as he carded eleven birdies during his nine under par 63 to open up a 4 shot lead in the Methorios Capital Italian Open at Castello di Tolcinasco Golf & Country Club in Milan, he now sits comfortably at -22 for the tournament.
It’s just six weeks since Otto lost out in a playoff to Scotland’s Alastair Forsyth in the Madeira Open, he is hoping to go one better this time and finally hook his first PGA European Tour event.
Four shots back in second on -18 are Robert Karlsson, who scored that magnificent -11 in round 2, fellow Swede Christian Nilsson and Alvaro Velasco of Spain, the latter pair both scored fine 64’s today.
