Ogilvy Takes WGC-CA Championship At Doral
Australian Geoff Ogilvy kept his nerve at Doral, Miami, he parred the final nine holes on Monday to win the WGC-CA Championship by a shot.
Highlight of the round was when he chipped in from the edge of the green to save par at the 13th (pictured).
Ogilvy finished up with a one under par 71 for the round for a total of 271, 17 under par.
53 of the field had to return to finish the round on the tournaments fifth day after first adverse weather then bad light curtailed proceedings on Sunday.
There was a three way tie for second place with Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, and Jim Furyk sharing the honours.
Tiger Woods ended the tournament a further shot back in fifth, thus ending the phenomenal run which had seen him win seven tournaments in a row.
