Australian Matthew Millar and Sweden’s Peter Hedblom, share the lead on 8 under par 136 at the halfway stage of the MAPFRE Open de Andalucia by Valle Romano.

31 year old Millar carded a 3 under par 69 to add to his first round 67 while Hedblom enjoyed a bogey free 67 which included 3 birdies and an eagle on the fifth, the same hole he eagled in round one.

Tied in third place are English duo Robert Dinwiddie and David Lynn and Frenchman Thomas Levet who sit one shot behind on 137.

First round leader and defending champion Lee Westwood had four bogeys in his one over par 73, he now has a share of sixth place two shots behind the leaders on 138.
