Methorios Capital Italian Open 2008 – Preview

This week the focus of Golf’s PGA European Tour switches to Italy for the 2008 Methorios Capital Italian Open at the Castello di Tolcinasco G & CC, Milan, Italy.

The par 72 course opened in 1993 and was designed by the legend himself Mr Arnold Palmer.

Many of the holes dogleg to the left, and there are numerous water hazzards.

One of the favorites for this years Italian Open is last years champion Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño of Spain who will be hoping for a repeat win.

Fellow Spaniard Ignacio Garrido who narrowly missed out last week in Spain, after a thrilling playoff, will be hoping to go one better.
