Robert Karlsson of Sweden has had the ideal tonic before flying off to Valhalla tommorow for the Ryder Cup by winning the Mercedes-Benz Championship 2008 at Gut Larchenhof GC in Cologne Germany. The victory was amazingly Robert Karlsson’s first European PGA Tour win of the season and is ideal preparation for the Ryder Cup.
It was lucky 13 as Karlsson ended up 2 shots clear of Italy’s Molinari as a one under par 71 was enough to secure him the title. Jimenez also is starting to get back into to top form, as fourth round 66 lifted him to 3rd overall.
