World Number one and current Safeway International Champion has shot herself into pole position at the end of the third round of the latest round of the LPGA Tour at Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club | Superstition Mountain, AZ

 Lorena Ochoa scored a four under par 68 today to take her to -16 for the tournament,   she is just one short ahead of 2nd round leader Angela Stanford and Jee Young Lee.  
Lorena Ochoa hit 5 birdies and a bogey on the 12th was her only blemish.    Jee Young Lee had a great day hitting a 5 under par 67 with 5 birdies and no bogeys,  Anglea Stanford let her lead slip with a disappointing 70 which had included 2 successive bogeys on the 13th and 14th, her round was saved by birdies on the last 2 holes, and she remains in contention on the final day.

 The round of the day came from Inbee Park who hit a 65 7 under par round which had 8 birdies, the round rocketed her to 4th and 4 shots off the lead.
