The Ginn Tribute is the latest round of the LPGA tour taking place at the Rivertown Country Club in Mt Pleasant S.C. Annika Sorenstam hosts the event, which sees 141 tour pros and one amateur, take to the field.

Kyung Kim hit a 7 under par, with 8 birdies and a bogey, which was matched by Webb who carded a bogey free 65 also which contained 5 birdies and one eagle

Kim is only in her second year on the LPGA tour and her 65 matches her best which came at the 2007 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, where she got seven birdies in a row. .Kim is looking for her second Ginn tournament win, following her victory at the 2006 Ginn OPEN at Ginn Reunion Resort outside Orlando, Fla.

The course allowed 59 players to get par or better in wet conditions, the title holder Nicole Castrale was 1-under-par at 71.

The tournament host, Sorenstam who is on her fair well tour, had a fighting round with a triple bogey on 5 but she turned it around to finish on par 72 thanks to 5 birdies.
