Jeev Milkha Singh Forges ahead in Austria
India’s Jeev Milkha Singh has forged ahead of the field in the 2008 Bank Austria GolfOpen presented by Telekom Austria at Vienna’s Fontana Golf Club, Singh enjoyed a truly amazing eight under par round of 63 to go with yesterday’s 64.
Singh’s round was bogey free and he had already carded six birdies before holing a long putt on his last hole for eagle (the 9th) see picture.
The chasing pack are now four shots behind Singh, they are headed by England’s Simon Wakefield who shot a 65 today to go with Friday’s 66.
New Zealander Mark Brown equaled Singh’s amazing score of 63 to take a share of third place on -10 along side Australian Peter Fowler, Brown finished his round birdie, birdie, eagle, birdie, par birdie.
