The European Tour returns this week after last weeks British Open at Royal Birkdale. The European PGA Tour returns to the Le Meridien Moscow CC Golf Course for the Russian Open 2008.
Per-Ulrik Johansson will be looking to defend his title this week, and has been quoted as saying putting will be the key to who takes the title this year.
Per-Ulrik Johansson really tamed the Le Meridien course last year, carding the lowest 72 hole total in the events history with a 265 which was a full -23 under par.

Top players to be playing this week include crowd puller John Daly, European Tour winners in past 2 years who are playing include José Manuel LARA Markus BRIER Fontana Gonzalo FDEZ-CASTAÑO Per-Ulrik JOHANSSON Mads VIBE-HASTRUP and S S P CHOWRASIA.
Many of the top players are taking a weekend off following the British Open so this weeks tournament is a chance for a player to win their first European tour event.
