Greg Norman Rejects PGA Championship Invite

Golf Veteren Greg Norman has turned down an invite from the PGA of America to play at this years last major of the season the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills which starts on the 7th August 2008.

 

Greg Norman plays little golf these days but he shook the golf world with his performance at the British Open where he lead after the 2nd and 3rd rounds and he ended a very impressive third. Norman who is now 53, also hit the headlines with Greg Normans new wife tennis legend Chris Evert following around the course each day. Norman continued his good form into the Seniors Open where he finished 5th at Troon.
Greg Norman however has turned down the invite as he has a previous commitment.
Greg Norman will next be in action this thursday when he takes part in the US Seniors Open at Broadmoor in Colarado.

The PGA Championship takes place from August 7-10 at Oakland Hills in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
