Fisher Extends Lead In European Open

England’s Ross Fisher has increased his advantage to three strokes in the European Open at the London Club, Ash, Kent.

A three under par 69 today puts him on 200, -16 for the 54 holes, 3 ahead of Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell in second, Fisher is the only golfer to have broken 70 in all three rounds.

If Fisher manages to prevail tomorrow he will become only the fifth wire-to-wire winner of the tournament joining Isao Aoki, 1983, Andrew Murray, 1989, Gordon Brand Jnr, 1993 and Phillip Price, 2003.

South African David Frost is a further three shots back in third place.
