Beautiful Gleneagles in Scotland is the venue for this weeks European PGA event the 2008 Johnnie Walker Championship . The tournament begins on Thursday 28th August and comes to its conclusion on Sunday 31st.

The tournament favourite is Lee Westwood who tees off at 8.10am from the 10th tee, playing with Westwood is Oliver Wilson who is in contention for an automatic place in the European Ryder Cup team, if he gets his place he will become the first European to play in the team without having won a tournament on the tour (unless of course he wins this one).

Another hopeful of an automatic place in Faldo’s team is Justin Rose who tees off at 1.10pm from the first tee, Rose will be joined in the first two rounds by last week’s hero Darren Clarke and defending champion Marc Warren.
