The TPC Four Seasons Resort course has been rebuilt since last years tournamen, the $10m refurb means it is basically a new course this year.
The course is going to obviously be new to everyone but with that in mind I don’t think Verplank has enough form
But, while it will be new for all of them, I don’t think Verplank is in the sort of form to win again this week.
Luke Donald from England was the runner-up 12 months ago , he is one of the best players from the tee but not one of the longest hitters so he could struggle this week. He missed the cut at the masters and it is felt that bigger courses get the better of him.

Ian Poulter finished top 5 last year and he show glimpses of brillance at the masters at Augusta with a hole in one at the 16th, but he totally lost it on the final rounds with a 75, and 78. If he can hold it together for 4 round who knows what can happen.

Trevor Immelman the Masters champion plays his first tournament after his major win, and will probably be glad to be back on the golf course after 2 weeks of chat shows and photo shoots.
It will be interesting to see how he copes with the extra attention being a masters champion attracts.

Sergio Garcia, is due a return to form, he won the Bryron Nelson 4 years ago and he is my tip to come good this week.
