Dinwiddie Smashes Course Record At Wentworth
With all eyes on the exploits of Paul McGinley in the BMW PGA Championship many people missed the amazing round by English golfer Robert Dinwiddie.
Playing in the last group of the day, Dinwiddie from Barnard Castle in County Durham smashed the existing course record with a stunning nine under par 63, he finished his round with five straight birdies and has moved up the leaderboard from 129th place to 20th.
After a six over par 78 on Thursday Dinwiddie feared that he would miss the cut however this amazing round puts him on -3 for the tournament, ten strokes behind the leader.
