Celtic Manor Wales Open - Strange Stays In Front
Scott Strange continues to lead the 2008 Celtic Manor Wales Open, a steady 2 under par 69 puts the Australian on -15 for the tournament.
Third round play was delayed on Saturday morning due to fog, however once things got underway the standard was as high as ever.
Strange went out in 34 with birdies at the 2nd, 4th and 9th and a bogey at the third, a birdie at the 11th and a bogey on 15 saw him home on 35.
Spain’s Alvaro Velasco carded a 3 under 38 to take sole possession of second spot on -12 three behind Strange.
Thomas Levet shot the round of the day, the Frenchman’s 65 moves him up from 26th place to a share of 6th on -10 for the 54 holes.
