Frenchman Gregory Bourdy continues to dominate the Portuguese Open with yet another perfect round,  he broke the course record with a 63 on day 1 and on day 2 he hit a equally impressive 65 to put him on 14 under par at the halfway stage.
His Front 9 holes contained 2 birdies and 7 pars,  but on the back 9 he really got into a good run with a run of 4 birdies from holes 13 to 16.
At the half way stage Bourdy is 2 shots clear at the top with next best placed player being Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano.  He had a quite remarkable round.   His front 9 was a mixed bag,  with a double bogey, and bogey the low points, but he also hit an eagle at the 8th hole and a birdie,  the back 9 was pretty amazing too with 5 birdies and a bogey,  he eventually carded a 5 under par 66.
Big mover of the day was Thomas Levet who moved up from 14 to 3rd after a hitting a 64.  Yesterdays joint leader Pablo Martin had a par round of 71 and has now slipped down to 9th
