BMW PGA Championship 2008 Preview Wentworth
The BMW PGA Championship is the main event of the PGA European tour it takes place on 22 May 2008 - 25 May 2008. The PGA Championship takes place at Wentworth Club Virginia Water, Surrey, England on the West Course.
The PGA Championship was first played back in 1955 at the Wentworth golf course.
The BMW PGA Championship prize money has gone up again this year. The PGA Championship Winners Cheque will be a cool €750,000 (£600,000) and overall there is €4,500,000 in prize money up for grabs. The prize money the richest in European golf is up €150,000 on last year.
The PGA Championship offers the most European Order of Merit Points with 64 ranking points for the winner.
