Bank Austria GolfOpen Posponed Until Friday
Due to extreme bad weather in Vienna the first round of the 2008 Bank Austria GolfOpen has been postponed until Friday 6th June, heavy rain has rendered the Fontana Golf Course unplayable.
Tee Times will remain as originally published.
It is as yet uncertain whether the tournament will remain 72 holes or be reduced to 54, however the first round is scheduled to now start on Friday with round two on Saturday, a decision as to how many holes will be played will be made before play starts on Saturday.
If the tournament is not reduced to three rounds the cut may be reduced to the top 50 plus ties rather than the top 65 plus ties.
