Adverse Weather Disrupts Shell Houston Open Johnson Wagner Has Lead
For the third week in a row the weather has caused delays to the PGA golf. A rain disrupted second round of the Shell Houston Open was eventually curtailed due to bad light.
Johnson Wagner is the clubhouse leader after shooting a 69 to add to his course record 63 on Thursday he now stands at 12 under on.
Tied in second are Charley Hoffman and Australia’s Mathew Goggin whose 64 included a bogey and two eagles, they are 3 shots off the lead.
Another 8 under par 64 came from Chad Campbell whose bogey free round puts him in fourth on 7 under.
Leading the European charge is Spain’s Jose Maria Olazabal who currently shares eighth place with a 5 under par total of 139, along side Olazabal is joint first round leader and defending champion Adam Scott who had a bad day at the office with 5 bogeys and a double bogey for a four over par 76, this marked the end of Scott’s run of 55 bogey free holes on the Redstone Tournament Course.
