Advantage Clarke, Darren Has 3 Shot Lead in The KLM Open
Darren Clarke shot a 66 on Saturday and now has the luxury of a three shot lead after three rounds of The KLM Open at Holland’s Kennemer Golf and Country Club in Zandvoort.
Ulsterman Clarke was in fine form rattling up 5 birdies during his 4 under par third round, he now has a 12 under par total of 198.
Sweden’s Henrik Stenson leads the chasing pack he sits in second place on 9 under after a fine 68 which included an eagle 3 on the 12th.
In third place is John Bickerton of England who is 4 strokes behind Clarke, his 66 today was greatly helped by 4 birdies on the trot at the start of the return leg.
Scotsman Marc Warren and Michael Campbell of New Zealand are tied for 4th place on 7 under.
