The Bryon Nelson Championship is very tight after day 1 with three players tied for the lead. Mathew Goggin, Ryan Moore and Eric Axley all shot 67s to lead on 3 under.
However there are some big players just one shot behind after they carded 68s players such as Adam Scott, Ian Poulter and Jesper Parnevik. Other players who shot 68 include Shaun Micheel Dustin Johnson, Briny Baird, Kevin Sutherland and Parker McLachlin.

Other top players not far from the lead include Justin Leonard and Sergio Garcia who are both 1 over.

The EDS Byron Nelson Championship 2008 is part of the USPGA Tour and takes place at The TPC at Four Seasons & Cottonwood Valley GC
