2008 British Open Golf Championship Latest Betting

After the first round of the 2008 British Open Golf Championship at the Royal Birkdale Golf Course, there has been a bit of a shake up in the betting.

Favourite Spain’s Sergio Garcia has hardened to 9/1*, world number four Adam Scott is on 11/1.

Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson after posting 10 over and 9 under respectively are now out with the washing at 120/1.

Big climber is the man in form Graeme McDowell 15/1, who won last week’s Scottish Open, he grabbed a share of the first round lead along with Robert Allenby 16/1 and Rocco Mediate 29/1.

Golfing News prediction Miguel Angel Jimenez had a good round today and now is a best priced 23/1 in from 42.
